The Nucleus business and innovation centre has been built at the heart of The Bridge, a major new centre for knowledge-based industries providing over 1 million sq ft of office, science and technology space in the Thames Gateway.

The Nucleus provides a contemporary working environment in an environmentally sustainable building with flexible, cost-effective space equipped with the very latest technology. The Centre encourages new enterprises and offers services and advice to everyone based at The Bridge, and to the wider business community.

  • Furnished or unfurnished air-conditioned offices from 75 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft available with a straightforward licence and only one month’s notice period: no long-term commitment

Through the team at the Centre and in Oxford Innovation’s head office, companies located at the Centre get access to a whole range of services to help them grow. Some of the more popular support services include the following:

Directions

From the North

Exit at M25 Junction 1A immediately after the toll booths. Follow the signs for Erith, crossing the motorway and then straight over at the next roundabout. Follow the road round and turn right at the next roundabout into the compound.

From the South

Exit at Junction 1A of the M25 directly before the toll crossing, take the first exit at the roundabout (signposted Erith) then turn right at the next roundabout.

By Rail

Dartford is the closest station, The Bridge is a short Fastrack bus or taxi ride away. To get train times call 08457 484950.

By Fastrack Bus

The Nucleus is on the Fastrack bus transport system that runs through Dartford and Gravesham and that provides frequent connections with various railway stations including Ebbsfleet International. See www.go-fastrack.co.uk.

Science Café

The Science Café is a regular series of events held at the Nucleus and designed to inspire, provoke and educate delegates on some of the hot topics in today’s world of science.

We will bring you interesting speakers from a wide range of topics with the aim of stimulating some debate, as well as giving some insight in to some fascinating areas of science, whether you are a keen scientist or someone intrigued by the impact of science on our everyday lives.
