The Saïd Business School building, designed by Dixon and Jones, the architects responsible for the Royal Opera House in London, opened in 2001 in the centre of Oxford. In design it brings together over three millennia of academic tradition, from its classical amphitheatre, to the mosque-like columns, medieval cloisters, four horseshoe style lecture theatres, 300 seat traditional style auditorium (opened by Nelson Mandela in 2002) and its contemporary interpretation of the traditional dreaming spire.

Oxford Innovation manages a network of Innovation Centres that provide flexible office and laboratory space to over 400 technology, knowledge-based and creative companies. Oxford Innovation also manages three highly successful Investment Networks that link investors with entrepreneurs seeking funding from £20,000 to £2 million. During the last five years, the investment networks have helped over 90 companies raise £19.5m.
A range of Innovation Services are also available to ambitious businesses, including investment readiness, raising finance, advice, networking, mentoring, new business opportunities, protecting IP, open innovation, workshop facilitation and training.
Science Oxford Networks supports the growth and development of Oxfordshire’s high-tech economy by pioneering initiatives, researching and communicating useful information and building links between business, education and the public.
