Pat Symonds & Nicky Grist Update

We have been working hard to ensure that this years Challenge will be exciting and something for everyone to enjoy taking part in.

As a result we are delighted to announce that Pat Symonds Executive Director of Engineering Renault F1 and Nicky Grist professional rally driver and co driver for Colin Mcrae have both agreed to join us in supporting the Silverstone Innovation Centre Design Challenge.

Pat Symonds will be joining us at the Workshops on the 18th April and will be part of our judging panel on the 16th May with Nicky Grist who will also be there to help judge the final entries to the Challenge. Nicky will also be providing the prize for the overall winner of the Challenge – this has yet to be confirmed but I am sure it will be something for the winners to be really excited about.

We will soon be sending out to those that have registered their entries, the pre-judging criteria together with details of what you need to send in for this process. Entries will have to be sent to us by the end of February. If you have registered your entry you will soon receive an email with the necessary information.

If you have not been able to get your registration in for this years Challenge, please consider applying for next years Challenge. The official launch will be in June 08 at the Formula Schools event held at Silverstone Circuit, however, you can use the registration form on this website to register your interest or just email Dianne Wilson
