Centre Receptionist – Barnsley
Position: Receptionist
Location: Barnsley Innovation Centre
Reporting to: Centre Manager
Hours: 12.30 to 5pm – Monday to Friday
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting and helping visitors
- Telephone switchboard services including message taking and answering calls in the name of tenant companies
- Mail receipt, sorting and distribution.
- Fax calls: sending tenants faxes (if requested) and distributing incoming faxes
- Conference and meeting room booking and recording
- Arranging the conference and meeting rooms, and refreshments for tenants meetings as requested
- Gathering and recording on computerised system the necessary information to produce service invoices for tenants.
- Keeping the photocopier operational at all times, and assisting tenants with its operation as required.
- Secretarial services to tenants as required.
- Helping with tenant coffee mornings
- Maintaining neatness of reception, common room, and office areas
- Maintaining tidiness of the kitchen area
- Covering occasionally at other Centres as requested
- Covering for the Centre Manager in his/her absence
- Other actions necessary to ensure the smooth running of the Centre.

- Efficient with an eye for detail
- Basic IT skills
